To Celebrate the Santa Barbara Culinary Experience and the Julia Child Foundation, please join me this Saturday at one of my favorite places in our town—the Santa Barbara Farmers Market—for a stroll and shop to meet some of my favorite farmers. You know I am always growing at home, but still can’t miss a Saturday at the Market.
We’ll shop for a seasonal side dish from the book, and you’ll leave not only with lots of new friends, but a copy Lush Life and some of my favorite Farmers Market treats including my beloved Piedrassi red wine vinegar.
Can you tell I’m so proud of where we live and how fortunate we are to have the best ingredients at our fingertips? Let the season shine, the farmers do the hard work—as home cooks let’s come together to embrace the season and the magic of delicious food.
