Here are a handful of my tried and true Easter dessert favorites. These can all be made and prepped the night before, making it easy to pull together your dessert table on Easter day in the midst of egg hunts and glasses of wine.
If the plan is to serve multiple desserts, put thought into flavor combinations that work well together- that way guests can try a small serving of each without tastes clashing.
Coconut and chocolate is the ultimate Easter flavor combo in my basket. These cookies are like nibbling on Mounds mini-bars, but oh, so much better.
This honey and polenta cake makes for a great gluten-free dessert option. It’s moist and flavorful, with the honey giving just the right touch of sweetness and the yellow color looks pretty on the table.
Easter’s star veggie shines in this carrot cake. I’ve tried so many recipes and this is a hands down favorite. My family loves it because there are no nuts or raisins, just carrots.
Dessert doesn’t need to be elaborate to be memorable. This simple family style way of serving strawberries is a delightful (and so low-maintenance) way to end a day filled with sweets.
