I was awestruck by the beautiful fall selection at this week’s farmers market. My tried and true formula for putting together simple bouquets is to pick out a few stems in the same hue. This week it was easy to spot lilac-colored roses, mauve hydrangeas and purple amaranths. When mixed together you’re showcasing the shape, size and texture of each bloom. Even if it is a small arrangement it’s sure to brighten any corner of your home. If you want to gift your bouquet, just wrap it with ribbon or twine. Now I better get arranging!
