“White…is not a mere absence of color; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black…God paints in many colors; but He never paints so gorgeously, I had almost said so gaudily, as when He paints in white.”
—G. K. Chesterton
My narcissus are already coming up! So much for my complaining about my cutting garden…though I can’t bear to cut them—they’re just too gorgeous.
White succulents seem so Santa Barbara to me and add a bit of winter white to the garden.
Look! We’re even growing snowballs…
The quintessential winter dessert…
This January health kick better work if I’m going to fit into this!
