Happy Birthday to me! Suzanne Goin* is wearing my Garden Apron in this Bon Appetit video! It’s a great video of Suzanne cooking just down the round at Coleman Family Farms in Carpinteria. Suzanne talks about two of my favorite subjects— farm to table cooking and involving kids in the kitchen.
*A note about Suzanne Goin-Where to begin? How about Los Angeles based chef & restaurateur, James Beard Award Winner, the mastermind behind AOC, Tavern, Luques, Larder on Burton Way & Larder on Maple Drive.
Suzanne is also the co-founder of LA Loves Alex’s Lemonade, an annual event (now in it’s 4th year) that brings superstar chefs and mixologists from around the globe to Los Angeles to lend their support to ALSF (Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation) and the fight against childhood cancer.
