Prettiest, pink, perfect party. Family, a few close friends, and the most delightful looking pastries you’ve ever seen. I feel like sometimes first (and second, third, and fourth) birthdays can be well … overwhelming for all involved. This party was simply fresh, beautiful, whimsical, thoughtful and heartfelt—the best kind of way to celebrate turning one!
A handwritten invitation on a letterpress card set the tone and colors for the day to come.
Momma Elizabeth (of Elizabeth’s Perfect Piecrust) asked me to arrange flowers to go with her colors — we used the invitation as our inspiration.
Elizabeth also made all the beautiful, incredibly delicious cakes.
Which included one very special little cake for the lucky birthday lady.
There was milk on ice for the little ones and Rosé Champagne on ice for the adults (these really are my kind of people).
And perfect pink elephant cookie favors for guests to take away.
